Yes, you guys get to start the story with some poems; three in fact (along with the cliche explanation of the story in the next two pages). I don't think I'm that good poetry--this is probably the best and my most favorite of the three, even though I don't think it's super great--but I haven't seen anything like this for a prologue to a comic and thought it was a good idea.
Ignore the anatomy failage in the first three pages.
I'm not the best at writing poems (at least I think so), so help is always welcomed. I never really put much thought into the order, and now that I look at the way you have it, it actually does make a lot of sense Thanks!
Day - brooding
Dusk - coming
Night - they get you
Dawn - for living another round.
Putting them in order like that would build the suspense up more I think and it also makes more logical sense.
